SedonaCloud Setup for Sedona-X Mobile

Deploy 1.25.1+ of SedonaCloud

We should have IT deploy version 1.25.1 or higher of SedonaCloud to either the customer's on-premise environment or cloud-hosted environment. You will also have to ensure that IT has set the AppPoolIdleTimoutMinutes option to 0. The will ensure the customer does not have any speed/lag issues when connecting to SedonaCloud

Create a new SedonaCloud license with Sedona-X Mobile enabled

  1. To create a new license, please go here
    1. http://sedonacloudlicense.perennialsoftware.com:6579/License/KeyGenerator
  2. Enter any unique value into the Signature input and click "Create" to generate a new Private and Public Key.
  3. In a new Browser Tab, open the License Generator page found in the top.
  4. Enter the same signature from the first page.
  5. Enter the generated private key from the first page.
  6. Set the license expiration date far in the future, i.e., 2050.
  7. Enter Customer contact name in License to name.
  8. Enter Customer email in License to email.
  9. Enter the Max Sedona Companies for Customer.
    1. Usually set this to 99 if there is nothing special outlined in the sales contract.
  10. Enable Sedona-X Mobile.
    1. Set the max sold number of Sedona-X Mobile users.
  11. Click Create.

Keep your browser tabs open as you move to the next step.

Add New License to SedonaCloud

  1. Login to the Host Portal of SedonaCloud.
  2. Click on the "Preferences" link in the top navigation.
  3. .Locate and edit the "License" row
    1. Paste in the new License generated from step 11 above.
    2. Click Save.
  4. Locate and edit the "License Public Key" row.
    1. Copy and Paste in the new Public License key found in step 2 from above.
    2. Click Save.

Add New License to each Company in SedonaCloud

  1. Click on the "Companies" link in the top navigation.
  2. For each company listed in the grid do the following:
    1. Click the pencil icon on the far right.
    2. Copy and Paste the new License from step 11 above..
    3. Click submit.

Enable Sedona-X Mobile for Users

  1. Click on the "Users" link on the top navigation.
  2. Check the "Company Users" checkbox in the grid header.
  3. Locate and Edit any user you want to enable Sedona-X Mobile for.
  4. Toggle the Enable Sedona-X Mobile switch.
  5. Click submit.
  6. Ensure that "Lock Sliding Window" is disabled for each tech.

Congratulations, SedonaCloud is now ready for users to sign in
