When it is necessary to run a receiver in Demo Mode, the steps are as follows:
- Log in to Supervisor Workstation
- Navigate to Maintenance > Setup > Receivers
- Select or Add the receiver that will be using Demo Mode
- In "Port Type", select Demo
- In the "Filename" field, browse to find the path of the signal file. (The signal file should be stored in a location that will not be overwritten or deleted, so don't place it on the desktop).
- In the "Signals Per Minute" field, enter the number of signals per minute that should be sent from the file.
- Complete all other receiver setups as normal.
- Click Save.
The final screen should look something like the image shown below:
If the FEP is running, the signals will begin appearing in the Raw Data Log right away.
When it is time to stop using the Demo file, the receiver can be set to disabled, or connected to IP or Serial connections.
