The following range of OptionNo in the MOption table is used for replication status monitoring.

mOptSERVER1 = 1100
mOptSERVER2 = 1101
mOptREPSTATUS = 1102
mOptREPGEN = 1103
mOptREPDIST = 1108
mOptREPLICAS = 1109
mOptDBSERVER1 = 1110 - 1119
mOptDBSTATUS1 = 1120 - 1129
mOptDBTYPE1 = 1130 - 1139

The Broker will automatically add some options, others will need to be manually updated via MSSQL Manager by doing a table edit or a query on the MOPTIONS table. Options that need to be manually added are listed in the chart below.

Form Use and Functions

Users may use this form to monitor their replication status in addition to the Database Manager. Since the Supervisor Workstation is often more on user individual workstations whereas the Database Manager is not, this tool can be useful. After the initial values are manually added to the database they will automatically be updated by the Broker and Database Manager during any replication changes such as a switch from a Primary to a Standby database. The Broker will look for replication status approx every second and will update the values in the MOption table to the appropriate MOption Optno.

Instance Name - Name of database in the replication
DB Types - Normal/DR Center/Reporting
Rep Status - Unknown/Okay/Dirty/Off-Line/Failed
Average - Average latency
Last - Last commit latency
