Phoenix – How to Run a Signal Report Showing Signal Traffic

This document will go over the steps to run a signal report in Phoenix Reporting to list how many signals/alarms are coming into the Central Station either to the operators or logging to the system.  

Overview

These steps assume the user will have the correct permissions to run the report needed.  This document will show how to run signal counts from the signal data located in the Phoenix database.

Steps:

1. Log into Phoenix Reporting

2. Click on Activity Button when the Report Menu opens

3. In the Activity Reports page – Click on Daily Summary under Misc Column

4. The report form will open – Fill in all the data that is wanted in the report – Title/Subtitle – Dates / Times – Can even have specific levels to pull data on – In example it was for all data between certain dates

5. The Daily Summary Report will group by the day and give a grand total at the end of the report

 6. Can also use the Traffic Report to show signal traffic by times/days

7. The Traffic Report form can be filled in the same as the Daily Summary

8. This report is broken down by time/hours – days – shows how many signals versus events/alarms – also shows a grand total for the dates/times the report is covering
