Internal Process for Licensing VCC With March Networks Systems

Process for requesting license files from March Networks

Retrieve Server ID file from customer's CES/CRS/NVR servers

Follow the steps in the Video Control Center - March Networks CES/CRS/NVR Product Licensing for VCC document under the "Retrieve the Server ID file from the CES/CRS/NVR" section.
Have the customer send you the generated Server ID file. It will probably be named something like <ip address>.id.txt

Request the application license from March Networks

Navigate to \\BOLDFILES\Development_Integrations\Video\March Networks and retrieve the 38f939efe3653d93dc7495ee0c40a71e_app_id.xml file. This is Bold's App ID file, and should not be distributed outside of Bold and March Networks.
Send an email to March Networks
- To: Travis Metz <tmetz@MarchNetworks.com> (current contact as of 5/22/2020)
  - Alternatively, if the above contact is invalid, send to SDKSupport@MarchNetworks.com
- Subject contains the customer's name the March Networks server is licensed to (This may be different from the Central Station or Dealer)
- Request an application license on behalf of the customer
- Attach the customer's Server ID file and our App ID file
March Networks will return the application license file.

Install the license file on the customer's CES/CRS/NVR servers

Make the license file returned from March Networks available to the customer.
Follow the steps in the Video Control Center - March Networks CES/CRS/NVR Product Licensing for VCC document under the "Installing a license file on the CES/CRS/NVR" section.
