QuoteWerks Install

Will be provided an update key and a license key.

  • In cmd: change user /install
  • Grab the .pit files from Documents\QW. Download QW from the website (Support->Download Area).
  • Put into install mode: admin cmd: change user /install
  • Run the installer from QW. There's one point where you can say no (some file backup thing), rest is clicked through. Make sure in C:\Applications\QuoteWerks.
  • Copy .pit files into the QW directory. Edit them for the new path.
  • Open QW. Put in the update license then the license key, and don't register (customer registers). Utilities. Backend to SQL. Put in the server name and SedonaUser. Might need to make SedonaUser a sysadmin in SSMS.
  • Reopen QW. Product menu->new product source. Add SedonaItems, SedonaParts, SedonaRecurringItems.
  • Open SedonaOffice, QW DB Setup, point to the QW db, test, apply, and export. If it exports you should be good.
  • Cmd: changeuser /execute
