Overview
This is a brief look at the basic settings that would be needed for configuring AVHS to work with Manitou. This is not an exhaustive look at configuring the Axis system.
External SiteID
To set the External SiteID you have to go to the Advanced Settings page.
- Log into the Axis Portal as the user
- Select the ellipsis in the top right corner
- Select Go to advanced settings
- Select Manage sites and alarm zones
- Select the site you wish to configure and click the edit pencil (Typically Default)
- Change the External id to be the same as the account TXID in Manitou
- Click the Save button
External DeviceID
The way that we have built the Data Map in Media Gateway uses the external device ID set in Axis as the zone. This MUST be set in the Axis portal.
- Log into the Axis Portal as the user
- Select Configuration tab
- Click on each device to configure it
- Set the External ID to match the Alarm Zone number
If you don't have defined alarm zones, this is done in the Advanced Settings section of the Axis Portal. Setting up an using alarm zones in Axis is beyond the scope of this document. Please work with Axis directly on these.
Setting the URL
At this time, Bold does not have access to the section of the portal to configure the URL. The customer will need to work with Axis to set this up. They should just provide Axis with the URL the created when setting up the WebHookPost application. It would look similar to this:
