Overview
MediaGateway is capable of both 1-way and 2-way SMS communications. However, not all drivers support both types. We recently reworked the connectors into individual dedicated drivers for each provider as well as maintained the "custom" (legacy) type for backward compatibility for legacy installs. These dedicated drivers reduce setup by only listing the necessary fields for each provider.
Many drivers do show fields for 2-way that were put in for future expansion. This does not indicate that the driver currently supports 2-way functionality. Review the list below for drivers that support 2-way.
