Issue:
When accessing the Sedona-X or other API endpoints for the first time that day or after a long period of inactivity you may see slower than usual response times.
Resolution:
The first user to log into the website, SedonaX app, or to access the API after no activity for a period of time because of the application pool worker thread timeout settings.
It could also be from other things like a reboot of the server or an IISReset is done.
The application pool worker thread timeout can be adjusted within IIS. This setting can affect other websites on your Web server, so care should be taken before making a change. Refer to Microsoft's article on adjusting this option.
