How Signals are Processed in Manitou
This is a brief overview of how a signal generally translates through Manitou.

Any time a customer has # sign programming, the Signal Handler will read that as "STOP HERE, DO ONLY WHAT IS ON THIS LINE." They will have a bad experience if they use # sign programming on all their signals.
Many don't realize that the # sign programming from the conversion is simply to get them from their legacy system into Manitou and should not be the process they use moving forward.

Zone or Point ID
Here is a basic flow of how the Manitou Signal Handler determines if it should display the Zone Description or Programming Point ID.
Hint: the Zone wins when on the Customer unless there is a Point ID on the customer. To avoid this in non-zone-specific programming, remove the output zone in the Transmitter Type programming to eliminate the zone after the translation happens.
