ManitouPSIM integrates multiple unconnected security applications and devices to provide complete security control through a single platform. ManitouPSIM accumulates information from various devices and systems and presents the relevant information in a comprehensive visual display, making it easier for dispatchers to identify and verify threats, prioritize security incidents, and proactively resolve situations.
Minimum System Requirements
- Manitou 2.1.20 or higher (driven by system specification)
- License enabled for PSIM
Technical Overview
There are two main parts to the PSIM enhancement:
- Improved Floorplan Experience
- Accepts .png or .jpg file formats only.
- Recommend 1920 x 1080 resolution for best results.
- Added option to include a building polygon on the plan with a map-based editor.
- Considerably more intuitive user interaction with the plan and plan elements.
- Map-based Alarm View
- New PSIM map-based alarm queue – allows situational awareness of incidents.
- Need to have mapping key from one of Bold Group’s supported map providers.
- Bold Group uses coordinates created in the floorplan map to add a location to all alarms. (You must do data entry on the account for this to have value.)
- The application places incident bell icons on a map as well as floorplan polygons.
- The application groups incidents together based on zoom level and closeness.
- Bold Group refined information to present the most valuable content at each level – both in the map zoom and in information cards.
- Bold Group added quick, efficient navigation control to group alarms by cluster and allows rapid map movement.
