Manitou Auto-Dialer Setup

Adding an Extension for the Manitou Auto-Dialer

1. Login to the PBX Server and browse to the following location: a.C:/Program Data/Bold Technologies/PBX Server/Bold Aeonix Switch

2. Open AeonixSwitch.config with notepad or notepad++.

3. Scroll down to the bottom and copy the last DeviceConfig (See image below).

4. Paste right below the last entry you just copied, modify the extension, and save the file.



5. Login to the active Bold Server, launch the MSM and right click the PBX Server (Auto-Dial) service and select stop. Once the icon is fully red right click again and select start. (See image below)

Adding an Extension in Manitou Supervisor Workstation

1. Log into the Manitou Supervisor Workstation

2. Navigate to the Maintenance Menu and select Workstations. (See image below)



3. Once the Workstation screen is open Select Edit and locate the Workstation and input the Phone extension in the Extension column. After this is complete simply select Save to ensure the changes are saved.

Adding the Bold TAPI drivers

1. Open the Phone and Modem application from Control Panel.

2. Enter in the Area Code

3. Select the Advanced Tab and click the Add button (See image below)


4. Once the Add Provider Window opens select the TAPI driver of choice. Default will normally be the BoldPBX.tsp but if using a particular phone provider, you may need to choose their specific TAPI driver.

5. If using the Default BoldPBX.tsp once added select add again to input the BoldPBX Dialer Default Line.

6. Under Line Properties enter the IP address to the PBX Server and keep the port at the default of 6110 and select OK. (See image below)



7. After setting up the TAPI Driver Login to Manitou via the Operator Workstation in the VB Client or Web Client and locate the Phone Dialer (see images below)



8. Once the Auto-Dialer has displayed click the Config button in the VB client or the settings option that looks like three cogs in the web client and select the correct TAPI driver from the drop-down menu and select test on the VB client and okay. If using the web client select done. (see images below)
