Video Verification is the pairing of security system signals with video clips of what caused the alarm. I-View is a video verification server which can be configured in SIMSIII receiver server, as you would a receiver.
Select Configure / Port Setup
Click on the IP tab
Click on Add
Select I-View Now in the receiver selection screen and for the Port Description, enter a name that will identify this particular receiver, such as I-View, for example.
Press OK
For the IP Address, enter the IP of the main primary computer, where the SRSIII is installed.
The port address is a port that has been exclusively opened on the router for this service and the Type is TCP
On the same screen, there is a button for XML Config.
The screen for XML Receiver Settings is where the IP Receiver Type is chosen. The correct selection in this case is TCP Server.
Contact the I-View provider so they can send in a signal, to make sure signals are being received correctly.
