- Go to U:\vpwin\VPKEY.EXE
- Pick the serial no (it should autoload the Company Name, Port, if they are UL)
- Set an expiration date of 6/1/2050.
- Make sure the Dongle type is Old Style.
- Enter the reason (i.e. changing computers).
- Click on Create Key.
- If successful, the following window should pop up.
This registration key is for a 32 bit computer. To update it to be used on a 64 bit computer, you will go to U:\VPWIN\KEY\VPNNNN.REG (where NNNN is the serial no). Right click and Edit.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SIMS\SIMS VaporPaper\Site] (this is the current information) and needs to be changed to:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SIMS\SIMS VaporPaper\Site], then save as VPNNNN-64bit.REG.
