Generating and Applying Manitou Licenses (Bold License Client 1.6.1 to 2.1.0)

Please follow the instructions below to generate a license file to send to the BoldGroup, so we may update your license. If there are any questions, submit a Support ticket.

Generating the License Request

  1. Open the licensing client. This is generally on the first server that was installed.
  2. Open the Bold License Client.

  3. Right-click on the desired machine in the list and select "Manual License Request".
  4. Select Save to file and then select the ellipsis (...).

  5. This will bring up a context window to save the file to your PC.
  6. Please label the license file the name of the machine.
  7. Repeat steps 2 through 7 for all intended machines requiring a new license.
  8. Now that the license files are generated, please zip the license files and email to Bold Support at support@boldgroup.com

Applying the License Response

Please follow the instructions below to update the license file the BoldGroup sent you, to update your license.

  1. If not already open, please open the Bold License Client.
  2. Navigate to Manual License Update (File ? Manual License Update...).

  3. Once selected, a window will appear to specify the license.
  4. Select the ellipsis (...) next to the File Name.
  5. Open the license response file sent by Bold Support.
  6. Verify the Machine Name is correct and select OK.

  7. Once complete a message stating the license has been successfully applied will be generated.
  8. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for all response files returned from Bold Support.
