Different payment methods require different time frames for the transaction to settle.
The payment method process through AlarmBiller via Forte (the payment processor) are:
- Credit Cards
- eChecks
The settle period times for the transactions to settle:
The ‘settled’ period is the time it takes the payment to move from the customer’s account to the account that you have set up with Forte.
- Credit card settlement period is 24 – 48 hours.
- eChecks settle period is between five to seven business days.
Note: Keep in mind that Holidays or unexpected problems at Forte’s end will impact these time frames.
