Checking what is using up resources in IIS
Worker Processes in IIS can cause the CPU to spike. In order to determine what is causing the spikes you need to check what is using up all the resources.
- Open IIS
- Click on the Web Server
- Worker Processes
- Open Feature/New Request
Enabling this feature if it is not there
- Open Server Manager
- Add Roles and Features
- Expand Web Services
- Expand Health and Diagnostics
- Select Request Monitor
- Complete the wizard
