Accessing the Sales Automation module from within AlarmBiller software:
- Click on the ab drop-down menu at the top, to the immediate right of the Support tab (The icon is a suitcase with the letters ab).
- Click on the Sales Automation:
Currently, Sales Automation is mainly a desktop module. (Is it not part of the Sedona-X app).
Sales Automation module can be accessed on a desktop or a mobile device by accessing the direct link in the browser:
https://YOURLINK.alarmbiller.com/SalesAutomation/SA
Note: Replace ‘YOURLINK’ in the URL with your actual company pre-domain.
It is very important to log in to the exact link that starts with ‘https://’ not ‘www.’ or ‘http://’ By using anything other than ‘https://’ will indicate a not secured connection and make certain features not work properly.
(Many required scripts behind the scenes will not work if there is not a secure connection, indicated by the letter ‘s’ at the end of http - https:// )
We also recommend the devices accessing the module to be on the latest operating system, especially the Apple devices (minimum iOS / iPad OS version 14.7.4)
Keep in mind, the module was not designed for mobile devices so glitches may be encountered if used on mobile devices.
- One main reason would be that desktop browsers can allow multiple scripts to run in the background so the module will work properly, mobile devices have limited capabilities when it comes to the browser
- Another reason would be the vectoral resolution and many other reasons.
