On the customer's computer, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMS and make a zip copy of the SIMS Dispatch folder. Also, the SIMS Dispatch program will need to be closed during the update to prevent issues with transferring the files.
Initiate a File Transfer.
On the Local Computer, navigate to U:\SIMSDispatchBeta. On the Remote Computer, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMS\SIMS Dispatch.
On the Local Computer, sort by Type, then select the SIMSDispatch.exe and all of the .dll files to transfer over to the Remote Computer SIMS Dispatch directory.
In the local computer, sort by Type and select all of the .aspx files to be transferred into the SIMSDispatchWeb sub-directory of the Remote Computer.
For the last part of the file transfer, navigate to the Bin sub-directory within
U:\simsDispatchBeta\SIMSDispatchWeb\bin on the Local Computer and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMS\SIMS Dispatch\SIMSDispatchWeb\bin on the Remote Computer.
Sort by Type in this directory on the Local Computer and select all the .dll files to transfer over to the Remote Computer.
Once this is done, close the File Transfer. Go to the Remote Computer launch IIS (Internet Information Services) and navigate on the left side under Sites to the SIMSDispatchWeb and highlight it. Then on the right side of the screen, there is an option to Manage Website. Here is where the website needs to be stopped and then started to have the website updates from above take effect.
