The following items are all needed before starting an install of AutoText. This should be complete/ready by the Project Manager before scheduling with a technician.
- These items must be in place before AutoText can be installed
- Manitou 1.6.4 or newer
- MediaGateway (can be scheduled at the same time as the AutoText install)
- The customer must have an SMS communication provider purchased, or at the least a trial account created. Please choose from one of the following
- MessageMedia (Need to specifically request a Legacy Account)
- CDYNE
- BulkSMS
- BurstSMS (Australia - Provider given through SCSI)
- Bold TextMe (Only for sending, not bi-directional but coming soon)
- This option is preferred
- The technician will need to be provided the following
- Login credentials to the SMS provider
- The API credentials (if separate)
- Typically a Username and Password or an API Key
- Information the customer should know.
- We do not monitor or report on SMS credits, if their credits run out, AutoText will stop working with little warning.
- It is recommended to have at least 50 credits for testing, if we run out of credits during the testing portion, we may need to reschedule.
- If the SMS provider is not setup before hand, we will reschedule the install as some providers can take up to 24 hours for the API to be ready.
