Whether or not the system prorates depends on what is selected in the next cycle field. If the next cycle date is on or before the start date then the system will prorate. If the next cycle date is after the start date then the system will not prorate.
Examples
- If the RMR start date is 4/15 and you do not want the RMR to bill for April, then you would select May as the next cycle date. If you do want the RMR to prorate for April then you would select April as the next cycle date.
- If the RMR start date is 4/15 and you want to bill for both April and May on one cycle invoice then you would select April as the next cycle date, then run the cycle invoicing for May and it will pick up both prorated April and all of May.
