Summary
March Networks requires licensing individual Command Enterprise Servers and Command Recorder Servers for use with individual products, such as VCC. This is a multi-part process involving:
- Retrieving a Server ID file from the March Networks CES/CRS/NVR
- Requesting a license file from March Networks with the VCC app id and the customer's Server ID file
- Distributing and installing the license file on customer's CES/CRS/NVR machines.
If a customer is running Command Enterprise Server, this only needs to be done once. If the customer is running a Command Recorder Server or an NVR for each site with cameras, the full process needs to be done on each CRS/NVR.
