How to Update Standard Cost for a Part

Occasionally you will need to update the Standard Cost for a Part in a Specific Warehouse or for All Warehouses.

Part Edit

Updating One Warehouse

Under Inventory find the Part that needs to be updated.
Either Double-click on the part or select “Edit” at the bottom right.
Right-click on the Part Code and select “Edit Part”.

In the Part Edit Screen, select the “Warehouses” tab.

Select the Warehouse that needs to have the Standard Cost updated.

Enter the new Standard Cost amount.

Select “Add”. Then “Save”.

 

Updating All Warehouses
 

Follow the previous steps and when updating the Standard Cost on the “Warehouses” tab, select “Set All Warehouses.”
Select “Add” then “Save”.
