Customers are allowed to create their own SMS server to use with Sedona Sync. For most situations, it's significantly easier and more cost-effective to sign up with a third-party SMS service provider like Twilio, SendGrid, or Vonage instead of building their own SMS server from scratch, unless customers have specific needs that cannot be met by existing solutions and the technical expertise to develop and maintain thier own system is available.
