In Phoenix the alarm priority is hard coded to a certain color. In this document it will go through the steps on how to change the color of the alarm by the priority. These steps cover all versions of Phoenix.
Overview
The color of the alarm is determined by the Priority of that SigType Alarm. Changes are made in the SigType Table. To change the color of a specific alarm, follow the steps below. The steps below assume the user performing them will have the proper permissions.
Steps:
- Open Data Entry
- Click on Tables - Click on Sigtype

- Look up and find the Signal ID you need to change by typing in the full or partial name of the signal – then click on the Binoculars

- Change the Priority to the correct corresponding color listed below
Priority Table Colors:
In the example: PANIC is Priority 3 so the color will be Yellow. If the color is to be Magenta – Change the Priority to 2 – Click on Update


- Send in test signal to verify signal is showing as Magenta when flashing and in the Browser
