Note: We do not support Flex or Vivid Reports, however, there may be times when a customer is experiencing an issue with the Flex Astute Add-in within Excel, specifically when it is no longer available. The steps below are a quick way to re-establish the add-in.
Description of Issue:
The Flex add-in within Excel for Flex Reports in Sedona is no longer available. It said that the Microsoft Office 365 expired and to login and resubscribe. When I log back in, Flex is no longer available.
Fixes:
As advised from Astute:
If Excel is open, close Excel.
Click on Vivid Reports icon on desktop.
After clicking on the Vivid Reports icon, a message window will appear stating “The Vivid Reports Flex toolbar will be added the next time Excel is started. Click ok.
Open Excel again.
The Flex toolbar should be available.
