Setting Up the Forte EFT Connection in AlarmBiller
In AlarmBiller, the Forte (payment processor) credentials are setup under Setup -> eCheck / Credit Card
The following screen will open:
To set up the credentials, click the New Merchant Account button.You will need to enter your organization ID, Location ID, API Access ID, and API Secure Key.
You will need to log in to Forte’s site Dex to gather this information. The information can be found in Forte’s Dex site as follows:
- Organization ID – This can be found under the company name in the top left corner in DEX.
- Location ID – In Dex this is referred to as the Merchant ID, and can be under Locations.
- API Access ID and API Secure Key – These can be found under the developer menu options in DEX.
Once all the information has been filled in, click the checkmark icon to confirm and save.
